Melody is spot on. I'd suggest some stronger drums, though. This seemed kind of weak and flimsy with that repetitive drum in the background just ticking away. And maybe one stronger string.

I downloaded FoD's remix for a cartoon I was making because it really stood out. However, this is absolutely terrible. Not only does this feel like an absolute rip-off, but the song was absolutely ruined by this remix. The intent of the slow-pacedness of FoD's remix was to built up into something epic. Speeding it up causes it to lose that atmosphere.
Plus, the drum effect you added really sounds like there's a reading problem with the song, rather than elevating it musically. The choppiness doesn't fit into this.
