For those of you who don't know who Mike was, he was my grandfather and did one of the voices in Redness Precedence (Hello, goomba!). Madness Day was a huge sucess for me, because I got frontpage, a 4.21 rating on Redness, and 250 dollars. However, on the morning after Madness Day, Mike was rushed to the hospital after losing control of his bladder. For two months, he hung around the hospital and rehab center. I visited him twice. On my third visit, we had found out that his family brought him down to Virginia. Then, three days ago, my brother called me and straightforwardly told me that Mike died.

I visited my grandma that day. I saw her and she hugged me and started to cry in my arms. I felt so bad, because she had already lost my grandpa, Jim. My aunt was there too, acting as if nothing had happened. I was so pissed by this, but should've expected it. She was the only of my grandmother's children who hadn't started a family and made a commitment to someone. On the car ride home, I heard "I'm Already There," a song Mike and I used to listen to. My mom pulled over and I bawled my eyes out.

However, before I left, I remember one thing my grandma said that I'll never forget. She said, "He loved you, Andrew. He loved you very much, and that goes without saying."

VOIP!

This was the first scene I created when I began Hunt of the Shoopacabra. This was originally a test animation, but it spawned into my latest project.

However, now I've changed several things. I added music, a black background, camera movements, more animation, edited the lazer (which is kinda laggy), edited the body's to zookeeper outfits, made Shoop's body black, and added a third guard.

So far, there are three kills and the intro still isn't done, but once I get my laptop, my progress will increase.

Edit: Apparently NGup.net is having some technical difficulties. Re-posting pending.

Yeah, Slipz came up with the phrase above. I lol'd, so I used it. Here's all you're getting of HotS until it is released.

SHOOP!

Update: Redness will be started right after this along with Maddock.

Yup. I'm working on one of my many side ideas. Nine, to be exact. The current project is Hunt of the Shoopacabra. It's a comical little idea that evolved from a test when I made an alt called Shoop Jr. on MC.net. I didn't want the idea to die, so I'm going to finish it, while I'm feeling motivated. I'll post several screenshots from time to time.

Update: Lol. I'm so slow at animating.

New Update Link, Coming Soon.

Update: Madness: Dolt is out. Purple Rain!

Though it is still only halfway over, I feel it's over for me. I have acquired all I yearned for. A place in the MD section, a higher than a 4.00 rating, and a frontpage. I want to thank fans, friends, and my fellow animators for the help and support. I loved every minute of Redness and I'm sure I will love working on the next episode. =0

Yet so far... Each day seems to be getting longer. Anyways, I'm going to submit Redness Saturday morning. I'm going to finalize everything tomarrow and save it for submission time.

The intro was made within my first couple weeks of Flash, so don't expect it to be good. I went back and fixed several things from it, but not everything is perfect.

Anyways, now would be a good time to discuss your feelings, hopes, and questions about Redness before I submit it.

Update: 8:04 EST - Schlemiel has been submitted. Dad?

Update 12:50 EST - After three unsucessful tries, Redness was uploaded. Please watch on Medium or Low.

So close...

It is true. After nine months of work, Redness is 98.5% done. Would've been about 5 or six months if I didn't animate so slowly and lazily in the beginning. Just a bit of making characters walk and react and a final, five hundred frame mini-scene. Then I'll just belt out the good ol' credits. I'll be finished either today or tomarrow. If I am busy tomarrow, Sunday will be the definite date. This is serious. It WILL be done.

Also, kudos to Jamison Lancaster (Shrinkz, the creator of Madness Mini) for voice acting for a part my voice was not able to do. Even though it's a one-liner, Shrinkz persisted to make the voice as mafiozo as he could. Thanks, man.

Now, there's the problem of the internet. My internet is out and I have no disks to put the animation on. My brother's good with electronics so I'm gonna ask him for help, but I'm unsure whether I can get in touch with him.

Edit:

7:40 PM EST - Redness has been completed.

A lost a scene in Redness. It wasn't too big, but it was one of my favorites. Here's a link to it, when I first worked on it.

Scene

EDIT: God must have smiled upon me. I found an old test of the scene, revamped it, and fit it back into the animation without any problems. I couldn't believe it.
