Nice little boaty-sinky-fun-timey-time.
The instruments give a real oceany mood to the song. I like the hi-hat bits in there. They're really what gives the wave break feel to it. I still feel that Prison Ship was better, but do as you wish.

Repetitve...
Seriously, a "breakout" would be an explosion of techno. if you want to acquire this, have the general volume and rhythm explode into something louder and faster. The repetitiveness was only broken by a slight change of instruments. Although the idea was right, you didn't make this thing go above the level of win it was at.
4/5
I understand. I got lazy.
Great remake.
I noticed you doubled up the notes a little bit and added an electric guitar a little bit earlier than normally. I love this song and how it's so diverse. However, without singing, the intro seems a little repetitive and bare. I know that's out of your control, but it just diminishes the value of the song. Maybe make a version with a voiceover?
I did like the little a Capella bridge. Really worked well, even though the merge back into the song changed in volume significantly.
Good job; 9/10, 4/5.
ty lol thats the problem with these songs... i can't sing all that well so might just have to shorten it a bit :D glad you liked it
Beautiful piece...
I'd have never imagined this sort of theme for Ozar Midrashim. I like the whole military feel to it. The drums and the cymbals have the real effect of a pre-battle atmosphere. The guitar and the synths (I assume they're synths) are used nicely together. The transitions are as smooth as a baby's bottom and the song is parodied perfectly, without deviating too far from the original, an excellent quality of a cover.
Really one of the greater songs, elevated (not reduced. lol).
I'm glad you like it; we're working on another version of this track, but with the way it's going, it's going to be guitar-heavy (in fact, I don't think I've added a single synth) and have a progressive metal feel. Actually, to more accurately describe it, it's like throwing Raziel, Rush's "YYZ", and a live Primus concert into a blender. Trust me, it'll still be awesome, but it's not going to be the same as this track.
Thanks for your review.
Excellent!
Didn't know this was an NG piece until I saw Outbreak. I thought Jimmy got it from a professional source, because this is really atmospheric. A nice, eerie Halloween feel to it.
Thanks!
Nice
Reminds me of the commercial with 50 cent leading the orchestra, in a way. I dunno.
Really good. Has a motivating mood to it.
thanks alpha =]
