last year, i had my toon done on time, my grandpa was still alive, i was a noob, i had more time to watch the submissions...
of course it was better.

Sorry about your grampa, but i agree with your points.
Another thing was some of the submissions from last year were more original, they explored new ideas. This year, however, was rather bland.
Cake quest and MC2008.5 were exampleas of good films for this year (not offending you and your submissions, i haven't seen Redness Precision).
MC2008.5 blew and so did the first.
Unoriginal and badly animated.
Well your improving over the years and that was pretty cool :D
